Several methods of connectivity are utilised within this handset in order to keep it connected to both cellular networks and the Internet. Initially, 3G coverage provides the XPERIA X10 with its connection to the Internet. However, a faster Internet connection can be achieved thanks to integrated Wi-Fi Technology. This works by utilising the signals provided by wireless Internet routers in commercial and domestic locations to provide a faster connection at broadband speeds, resulting in an enhanced browsing experience. EDGE & GPRS are both provided in class 10 versions which keep the handset connected to cellular networks and also to the Internet in areas with little or no 3G coverage.
Standard internal memory within the Sony Ericsson X10 is 1 GB. This can be used for storage of documents and contact information etc, however an integrated micro SD card slot is also provided with a pre-installed 8 GB memory card making it ideal for storing data such as music tracks, video clips and photos etc. A larger memory card of up to 32 GB can be installed into this card slot however, providing users with all the storage they are likely to need.
The large touchscreen with the Android OS offer instant appeal, however a further look at the spec sheet shows the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 offers something for everyone.
